UNION – A pendant donated by Studio 2015 Jewelry of Woodstock is being raffled to benefit the McHenry County Historical Society.

The necklace, which evokes the Era of Elegance, has the appeal of something worn by wealthy patrons aboard the luxury liner Titanic, according to a news release from the historical society.

“Wings of Nature” is a 14-karat yellow gold custom enamel pendant that retails for $830.

Raffle tickets cost $10 each. The total number of tickets to be sold is 200.

The drawing will take place July 8 at the historical society’s Heritage Fair. The winner need not be present.

To purchase a ticket, call the historical society at 815-923-2267, or email the society at info@mchsonline.org.
