Dog Days of Dundee on Saturday

WEST DUNDEE – Area dog owners are invited to participate in a Dog Days of Dundee event Saturday.

It will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Randall Oaks Park, 1180 N. Randall Road, West Dundee.

Dog microchipping will be provided by Dundee Animal Hospital for fee of $17.99.

The schedule of events:

11:30 a.m. – K-9 demonstration

Noon – Musical Sits Game

12:30 p.m. – Adoptable Pooch Pageant

1 p.m. – Fastest dog contest: large breed and small breed classes

1:30 p.m. – Trick Training question and answer time

2 p.m. – Best Sloppy Kiss Contest

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Doggie play area and agility area

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Scavenger Hunt

Attendees also can visit with the specialty vendors and rescue groups.

Food, blankets and monetary donations will be accepted for local shelters and rescue groups.

Pets must be on leash at all times and under the complete control of the owner, Owners must pick up after their pets.
