‘Howl’ing success

To the Editor:

A Heart for Animals hosted a Howliday Bazaar, Microchip and Pet Adoption event on Nov. 10 in Cary. The event was a success, and the proceeds will help many homeless animals that currently are in foster care with A Heart for Animals.

Thank you to the community of Cary, the Cary Grove Referral Networking Group, and the Cary Grove Chamber of Commerce for their support of this event.

A very special thank you to Holly and John of High Road Events for letting us use the beautiful and quaint High Road Events house, located at 22 High Road. It was the perfect place for our event. We could not have had this event if it were not for your generosity and support of our rescue.

Our next rescue fundraising event from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Lanes in Carpentersville. Join us for raffles, 50/50 raffle, dinner, moonlight bowling and more! Tickets in advance are $25 for dinner, bowling and shoe rental, $30 at the door.

Don’t bowl? Join us for dinner for just $15! It will be a fun, family night out and all proceeds will go to help save animals.

A Heart for Animals is a no-kill, nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization. We are a volunteer-only organization. For information, call 847-868-AHFA, email AHeart4Animals@gmail.com or visit www.aheartforanimals.org.
