Building a best-in-class workplace

McHENRY – Stateline SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) will host a breakfast seminar from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. March 14 at the McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry.

Nicole Martin, who is skilled in helping organizations meet their strategic objectives through their people, will explain what it takes to build a best-in-class, award-winning workplace.

As founder of HRBoost LLC she advises on best practices, legislative compliance and HR’s role in strategic alignment. Martin serves on the advisory board for Chicago’s “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” and acts as a representative for business development in the region.

Cost is $15 for members, $30 for nonmembers, payable by cash or check at the door. Credit card payments can be made online when registering. Reservations are required no later than March 11.
