What’s real story in Harvard?
To the Editor:
When I read the article, “No paper trail in Harvard,” I was disappointed but not surprised.
I understand that within business, promotions, hiring and firing is solely up to the discretion of that organization; this is not what concerns me the most.
What concerns me is the fact that Mayor Jay Nolan lied. He said that there were applications and interviews, but when faced with the task of providing the documentation, his story changed. Why lie? Why cover it up if you haven’t done anything wrong?
With an election looming, this mendacious news should have everyone questioning his ethics. Who were these few people who stopped in to inquire about the position but missed some of the qualifications? How did they hear about the job? When his story changed, more holes in it became clear. What is the real story?
