14-year-old killed in Chicago drive-by shooting

CHICAGO — Authorities say a 14-year-old boy was shot to death Sunday afternoon on Chicago's West Side.

Chicago Police say the boy was shot in the chest in a drive-by shooting. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police detained three males and recovered a weapon after locating a vehicle that matched a description of one seen near the shooting.

The victim's identity hasn't been released, pending notification of relatives.
