CL Park District offers art classes

CRYSTAL LAKE – Art classes for all ages, interests and ability levels are offered year round at the Crystal Lake Park District and there is still time to register for classes starting in mid-April and May.

All programs take place in the art room at the park district administrative building, 1 E. Crystal Lake Ave.

• Spring Art for Young Artists (ages 3-6): 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays, April 30 to May 28. The cost is $55 for residents and $63 for nonresidents. Register using program code 5581-0.

• Tissue Flowers & Butterflies (ages 5-12): 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the art room of the administrative building. The cost is $23 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. Register for program code 5546-0.

• Mosaic Stone Garden (ages 5-12): 10 to 11:30 a.m. May 4. The cost is $23 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. Register using program code 5752-0.

• Clay Art Decorations (ages 6-12): 4:30 to 6 p.m. May 22 and 29. The cost is $38 for residents and $46 for nonresidents. Register using program code 5563-0.

• Design Your Own Art Sketchbook (ages 6-12): 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, today to May 15. The cost is $55 for residents and $63 for nonresidents. Register using program code 5539-0.

• Mimic the Masters (ages 12 and older): 4:30 to 6 p.m. Mondays, through May 13. The cost is $55 for residents and $63 for nonresidents. Register using program code 5483-0.

• Stained Glass (ages 18 and older): 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays, April 22 to May 20. The cost is $74 for residents and $89 for nonresidents. Register using program code 5622-0.

• Drawing for Adults (ages 17 and older): 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays, April 19 to May 10. The cost is $46 for residents and $53 for nonresidents. Register using program code 5405-0.
