Stall tornadoes?

Published: Sunday, June 9, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

To the Editor:

In the aftermath of the tragic tornados in Oklahoma, isn’t there something that can be done to stall tornadoes.

Whole populations and cities are at the mercy of tornadoes. I recommend to some people that a low yield rocket be fired into a tornado. Wouldn’t an explosion stall that 300 mile per hour wind? I was told by some people that if man was supposed to fly he would have wings. An explosion might stall the high winds and prevent a lot of damage.
