Charity concert planned at Lake Julian

CARY – A fundraising concert to help Cary flood relief and support Honor Flight efforts will take place from 1 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24 at Lake Julian.

The event will include live music, food, games and raffles.

A $10 donation is requested for admission.

Bagshot Row will perform from 2 to 3:30 p.m., In Session will take the stage from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m., and Voyage will play from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The event is supported by the Veterans Network Committee, the Cary Lions Club, the village of Cary, the Algonquin Township Road District and the Cary-Grove Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are available in advance at the Cary Jewel this weekend at the VNC set-ups at the front of the store.
