JOHNSBURG – Enforcement will be stepped up in Johnsburg and other Illinois municipalities starting Friday and running through Labor Day.

The statewide crackdown is focused on drunken driving and seatbelt violations.

Besides high-visibility enforcement, the campaign also includes national and state advertising.

It is funded by federal safety dollars funneled through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
