Sale hosted by Johnsburg High School freshmen

JOHNSBURG – Holiday goodies, Skyhawk gear and a variety of other items will be on sale Saturday in the parking lot of Johnsburg High School.

The combined flea market and arts and crafts fair is a fundraiser for the freshman class's prom account, to be used when it is the junior class and is responsible for booking the prom.

It will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the front parking lot of Johnsburg High School, 2002 W. Ringwood Road. More than a dozen tables have been booked.

Distributive Education Clubs of America – a club focused on business and marketing – will sell scarves to raise money for Johnsburg High School science teacher Cheryl Trione, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

The freshman class also will be providing temporary tattoos and face painting to children.
