Believe in karma
To the Editor:
I recently lost my iPhone in the Kohl’s parking lot.
I was unaware that it was gone, as I am a senior citizen and not permanently attached to it. That evening, Nathan, who found it, got in touch with me and told me I could pick it up at the Target food court before his shift.
Nathan returned my phone and refused my offer to reward him for his honesty. I was quite taken aback as you hear so much about phones being stolen. I am most appreciative and applaud Nathan for his integrity.
When you go to Target, please give Nathan a “thumbs up.” He deserves it.
The next day, I was in the Aldi’s parking lot in Cary, and my car, with fewer than 2,000 miles on it (my trade-in was 10 years old and dent free) was hit in the rear door.
Whoever did it did not assume responsibility and took off without so much as leaving a note. I believe in karma.
