Pitch in with diapers

Published: Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

To the Editor:

The St. Paul Diaper Bank needs your help during this holiday season.

The Diaper Bank does not receive government funds. The Diaper Bank does not receive money from the United Way.

Yet we distribute 25,000 diapers a month to people in need: babies and children, disabled children and adults, people who are suffering through serious illness, and the elderly.

How do we do it? People like you pitch in. Community organizations, churches and local businesses pitch in. Together, we make a difference in the lives of many every day.

We need you. If you haven’t already, please pitch in. Remember, diapers are not a luxury. They are a basic human need. You can help us more than you know.

The Rev. Phyllis Mueller

St. Paul Diaper Bank, director
