Lakemoor settles with former Public Works employee

LAKEMOOR – The village of Lakemoor settled with a former employee who said the village owed him a week of back pay.

Former Public Works Department foreman Wayne Sword will be paid the one week of pay he said the village owes him, Village President Todd Weihofen said.

The village decided to settle because it was cheaper than the attorney costs would be, he said. Sword left the village two years ago.
