No injuries in pickup truck fire

WOODSTOCK – A pickup truck fire blocked traffic on Charles Road east of Nelson Road for about 30 minutes Thursday evening.

The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to the fire, which started underneath the pickup's hood, at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, finding the pickup truck fully involved when crews arrived, Lt. Tim Schroeder said.

Firefighters were on the scene for about a half hour, he said.

There were no injuries.
