Obama’s leadership

Published: Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

To the Editor:

The president said he did not know you could not keep your health plan. He also did not know about the IRS, Benghazi and others.

I give him the benefit of doubt, although others do not because of strong supporting evidence. He did not know because he chose people not qualified to do their job, part of which is keeping the president informed since he is very busy.

The real question is leadership. It took him about six weeks to address the public and ask the insurance companies to extend the cancelled policies. We will see how that works.

A true leader would have made the announcement the day after “he found out.” Turns out the health-care plan should have been delayed for all, not only business.

Lastly, the Canadian, no-bid website. If true and there are close ties with Obama and millions were wasted, there must be accountability from the top down.

For those that will play the race card, my pick for president was Herman Cain – a man with a stellar résumé, as opposed to the president’s bland résumé.
