Motorists drive on Route 31 on Sunday in Algonquin. Wind chills are expected to be 30 below zero, with wind chills of 40 to 50 below zero expected into Monday afternoon. The weather service is forecasting a prolonged period of dangerously cold wind chills from Sunday night through Tuesday morning.
