Woodstock co-op's Busch rolls 300 game

Woodstock co-op boys bowler Tyler Busch bowled a perfect 300 in his third game in a 3,162-3,121 loss to Glenbrook North at Wayne's Lanes Thursday night.

"I was shaking like crazy," Busch said of his last few frames. "I don't even know what happened at the end. The last three frames were all luck."

When Busch got to the 10th frame, spectators at the alley became quiet and crammed around his lane to watch his final throw, putting more pressure on him.

"I was just shaking and pretty nervous," he recalled. "It got really quiet and I could feel everyone watching me. When I saw [the pins] go down I was so pumped and ecstatic."

He finished the meet with a 716 series which included games of 214 and 202. The senior's previous high-game came last year when he bowled a 279.
