Right to Carry hosting tactics instructor

WOODSTOCK – The McHenry County Right to Carry Association will host an officer of the Orland Hills Police Department for a discussion.

John Krupa will be at Woodstock VFW Post 5040, 240 N. Throop St., at 7 p.m. Feb. 6.

The firearms and tactics instructor will speak on several topics.

Among them, according to a release from the Right to Carry Association: How to avoid being a victim of fraud in regards to concealed-carry training; the Illinois State Police fraud instructor affidavit program; understanding the liability dynamics post-shooting; the discovery process and what attorneys look for in use-of-force cases; what to look for in securing expert witnesses; a review of legal experiences in shooting incidents; instructor background development; and insight on instructor professionalism, networking and continuing education.
