SOCHI, Russia (AP) — U.S. forward Julie Chu left the Olympic women's hockey team's practice early on Saturday after an apparent injury to her left hand.

Chu skated off the ice with her left glove off and her hand immobilized. Coach Katey Stone says she doesn't know if it's serious.

The Americans are scheduled to play Sweden on Monday in the semifinals.

At 31 years old, Chu is the oldest member of the U.S. women's hockey team. She was the 2007 Patty Kazmaier Award winner in college hockey and left Harvard as the NCAA's all-time leader with 284 points in 129 games.

The fourth-line forward is a four-time Olympian who is searching for her first gold medal.
