CRYSTAL LAKE – Two Crystal Lake businesses were cited for selling tobacco to minors during a compliance check this week by Crystal Lake police.

The 7-11 convenience store at 60 W. Terra Cotta Ave. and the Oak Street Food and Liquor at 256 N. Oak St. both sold tobacco products to a minor during the check on Thursday, according to a Crystal Lake police news release.

Police inspected all of the city’s 36 businesses that have tobacco licenses.
