Breakfast series to cover concealed carry for truck drivers

McHENRY – Concealed-carry issues for truck drivers will be the topic of an upcoming McHenry County College Breakfast Series event.

McHenry Officer Marc Fisher, a member of the Truck Enforcement Association, will cover the basics of the concealed carry law, how to interact with police while carrying, instructions on carrying a firearm to restricted location and proper storage of a firearm.

The breakfast runs 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry. The cost is $15 and includes a continental breakfast and topic-related materials.
