CRYSTAL LAKE — The Centegra Health System Auxiliary encourages women to wear a hat for women’s health in McHenry County during the 11th annual Mad Hatters Luncheon Thursday, May 1.

The event will begin with cocktails and a silent auction preview at 10 a.m. at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn, 800 S. IL Route 31. Lunch will be served at noon followed by grand raffle drawings.

“Centegra Health System depends on the community’s support to sustain quality health care for our friends and families,” said Helen Ruth, Mad Hatter event chair. “Taking an afternoon away from day-to-day stresses and attending this women’s event will help make a healthier McHenry County. Our luncheon has become a wonderful spring tradition for many local women. It is a unique event that is entertaining and fun but with a purpose. We want to ensure the women in our community have access to the highest quality health care right here in our own community.”

Reservations are $50 each or $500 for a table of 10 and may be purchased in person or by mail. Reservations fill quickly so reserve a table early. Grand raffle tickets are also available for purchase prior to the event. Grand raffle prizes include an Xbox One, an iPad and an iPad Mini, an Elizabeth Arden Chicago Red Door Spa package, a Grand Geneva waterpark family weekend for six and $1,000 cash.

To place a reservation or order raffle tickets by mail, make checks payable to Centegra Mad Hatters and send to Centegra Health System Auxiliary, P.O. Box 662, Woodstock, IL, 60098. Reservations may also be made in person at any American Community Bank and Trust location. For more information on how to participate, call Colleen Delahunty at 815-363-1354.
