No money for Obama library

Published: Thursday, May 8, 2014 5:30 a.m.CDT

To the Editor:

The state of Illinois is knee deep in red ink with budget woes, and an Illinois House committee now supports the idea we should assume part of the cost for President Obama’s library.

President Lincoln was a true son of Illinois who accomplished much while president.

The total amount of Obama’s claim to fame possibly could fit in a two-car garage.

With programs dealing with people hurting in this state and the threat of even higher taxes, surely Obama would say to further burden taxpayers and this state would be an abomination.
