Missing Benghazi story

Published: Saturday, May 10, 2014 5:30 a.m. CDT

To the Editor:

I’m feeling paranoid.

More importantly I feel that the media, the Northwest Herald included, is keeping important information from me and other Americans.

Where is the honest and unbiased reporting regarding the new evidence discovered in the last few days relative to the terrorist attack in Benghazi? I have heard that most Americans just don’t care. That it’s “old news.”

The only obvious explanation is that the media is trying to protect the Obama administration. It’s as simple as that. If I can no longer count on the newspaper I read to inform me of something as important as the misleading and deceptive behavior of the highest reaches of our federal government, then what good is my subscription?

If the Northwest Herald and other newspapers across this country can justify not covering such an important story we, the citizens of this great country, are in deep trouble. The media is supposed to honestly inform us without prejudice. What has happened?
