McHENRY – George Gatsis has been named senior vice president of technology platforms for Follett School Solutions, a provider of integrated content and technology solutions for PreK-12 education.

“George’s broad leadership experience in technology and his innovative approach to bringing solutions to market make him an ideal fit for his new role,” said Tom Schenck, president of Follett School Solutions. “George and his team will drive our evolution and integration of all of Follett’s content and technology offerings to better support the needs of educators seeking more options for learning in any format, at any level.”

Gatsis began his career with Follett in 1994 as director of development projects for Follett Software Co., now part of Follett School Solutions. More recently, he has led strategy and business development in launching the company’s Aspen student information system platform. During his 20-year tenure, he held progressively more responsible roles with the company.
