Gratitude for Mercy staff

To the Editor:

Mercy Health System has the finest staff anywhere.

We hear this from our patients and community members every day. As we celebrate Health Month this May, I am proud to recognize and thank the devoted, talented and compassionate Mercy partners for making miracles happen on a daily basis.

They dedicate their lives to serving others, and that makes them very special. They touch lives in profound ways, caring for patients and families in their time of need and uncertainty. Few are willing to give so much of themselves to the service of others, but our partners share this gift daily.

From the physicians who diagnose and treat patients to the nurses who provide comfort and care to the many technologists, therapists and other care providers to all of our support partners who keep our facilities clean and the System running smoothly, it is truly the people who make Mercy a place of hope and healing.

On behalf of the Mercy Health System Board of Directors and the administrative team, I thank our partners for sharing their passion and talents, for touching lives and touching hearts, and for everything they do and everything they are.

I hope you will join us in expressing gratitude for their life-saving and life-changing work.
