Marengo-Union Library announces community events

MARENGO – The Marengo-Union Library will begin its summer reading program at 2 p.m., Friday, May 30, inside the library, 200 S. State St., Marengo.

Acclaimed author Jim May, a Spring Grove native, will be the featured storyteller for the event. Participants can also register at the event for the full summer reading program, "Paws to Read."

The library will also host two movie nights in June, starting with a showing of "10 Things I Hate About You." The teen movie night starts at 6 p.m., June 19, inside the library.

The library will also show "Little Rascals Save The Day" for families at 6 p.m., June 21.
