Johnsburg library collections updated ahead of summer reading

JOHNSBURG – The Johnsburg Public Library is updating its adult non-fiction animal book and DVD collections, just in time for the library's "Paws to Read" Summer Reading Program.

The library was awarded a $5,000 grant by the Illinois State Library, a Division of the Office of Secretary of State, ahead of the start of the reading programs, which are for children as young as 2 to adults.

Additional information and reading logs are available at the "Paws to Read" displays at the library, 3000 N. Johnsburg Road, starting Monday.

Everyone completing the program requirements earns a prize, gets a spin on a prize wheel, and is entered in their grand prize drawings.
