Gay marriage stories

To the Editor:

Thank you, Bill Hurlbert, for writing your letter to the editor (“Disappointed in coverage,” June 8).

It was about time somebody said something. The Northwest Herald also ran another story the next day about two lesbians – again on the front page. I would like to know how many articles about faith make it to the front page. Not many, if any.

There are 44 references to fornication (or sexual immorality) listed in the Bible, and the one most people should read is in Romans 1:26-27.

It is not up to us to condemn them for that is up to our Lord God when the rapture begins, but it is not right to shove it in our noses as the Northwest Herald likes to do.

I wonder what would happen if all Christians dropped the Northwest Herald and went with another newspaper, which I have been seriously considering as it is news from the Internet that I already see anyway, and I believe most of the reporters sit behind their desks and no longer cover a story by foot. (Just watch the computer all day).

Yes, Jesus said to love one another, but what is said in Revelation if you eat with them and associate with them? See Revelation 2:20 and 2:21-23.

Thanks again, Bill.
