Eagles semipro football team won't play at Huntley H.S. this season

Published: Tuesday, June 24, 2014 9:37 p.m. CDT

The Fox Valley Eagles semipro football team announced it will move its home games from Huntley High School to Lake Barrington Fieldhouse this season. The Eagles' home opener is 6 p.m. Saturday against the Rock River Raptors of Rockford.

“Our decision was made to move from Huntley High School following the announcement of the impending renovation projects for the school’s fieldhouse and parking lot,” Eagles president and general manager Patrick Sharpe said in a news release. "Efforts were made to remain in Huntley and relocate our games to Marlowe Middle School’s field, but this also was hampered by the field not being available in August for three Eagles home games.”
