County Civil War round table scheduled for next week

WOODSTOCK – A college student Tuesday will present on an Illinois monument during the McHenry County Civil War Round Table.

Noah Neiber, a college student who volunteers at the Midway Village Museum in Rockford, will present "The Illinois Monument at Andersonville" at the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 8. It will be held in the lower level of the Woodstock Public Library, 414 W. Judd St.

Neiber worked his way through hundreds of newly discovered documents while researching the subject.

The public is welcome at the meeting.
