Cary Park District to hold kids' garage sale

CARY – The Cary Park District has scheduled a kids' garage sale for youngsters to get rid of their unwanted belongings.

Youngsters will be able to sell unwanted toys, games, books and other objects, the park district said in a news release.

Registration prior to the event is required. Residents of the park district will be charged $9 for a slot. Nonresidents will be charged $14, the news release said.

The garage sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 16 at the Lions Park parking lot.

Each child will be assigned one parking space to sell his or her belongings. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
