Prairie Grove to hold National Night Out event

PRAIRIE GROVE – Exploring a police car and fire truck as well as chomping down on free hot dogs will be part of Prairie Grove's National Night Out.

National Night Out events are held in communities across the country to promote community and police cooperation and raise awareness of public safety issues.

The Prairie Grove festivities will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Prairie Grove Park, which is next to the Prairie Grove Village Hall, 3125 Barreville Road.
