HUNTLEY – The West Main Street bridge project is now complete and the roadway has been reopened to traffic, according to an alert from the Huntley Police Department.

Traffic controls signals west of the bridge are also active, and the department warned drivers to use caution when approaching the intersections of Marengo and Hemmer roads and Harmony and Hemmer roads.

Work on the 53-year-old bridge started in June and was handled by the McHenry County Division of Transportation.
