Severe thunderstorm warning expires for McHenry County

The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a severe thunderstorm warning in McHenry County until 10:45 a.m. It was allowed to expire.

The warning was in effect for western McHenry County, northeastern DeKalb County and eastern Boone County.

The storms, which were located along a line from Walworth, Wisconsin to Marengo to Genoa, could cause roof damage.
